The Journey

The journey About-us of Ashirwad Yog-Naturopathy College began with its establishment in 2001, by Dr. Nitin Shimpi and Mrs. Minal Shimpi under the Registered Charitable Trust ‘Ashirwad Seva Samiti.’ Since the last 20 years, we have been providing exceptional services in the fields of education and treatments in yoga as well as naturopathy.

Dr. Nitin Shimpi

Dr. Nitin Shimpi

Dr. Nitin Shimpi is a Bachelor in Physiotherapy (B.P.Th) graduate, specializing in soft tissue manipulation techniques & mobilization. Apart from this, he completed his Diploma in Yoga & Naturopathy (DYN) from Pune. He made a special study of Hydrotherapy i.e water therapy to cure spasm conditions to relax muscles tone. His areas of expertise are orthopedics, sport injuries, post operative conditions like TKR, THR musculoskeletal physiotherapy, stroke management, neurological conditions & multiple sclerosis.

For leading corporations, he conducts regular seminars on prevention of various illnesses through physiotherapy. He is a regular speaker at Maharashtra Police Academy, as well as columnist in newspaper & health issues.

Mrs. Minal Shimpi

Dietitian, Naturopath & Yoga- Teacher, B.H.Sc. (Food Science & Nutrition), P.G- M.A. Yogshastra, Mrs. Minal Shimpi is a regular speaker & columnist in newspapers & health magazines. Post her graduation with specialization in Food Science & Nutrition from S.N.D.T University, she also completed (D.Y.N) Diploma in Yog- Naturopathy & deeply studied every aspect of Natural Diet therapy with specialized study about food combination, alkaline diet & fasting therapy. She has completed a university recognized Yog-Teacher Diploma to implement Yoga-Pranayam in treatment therapy.

She has been active in clinical nutrition practice since 2001. Her experience in the field of Diet Yoga- Naturopathy as well as in preventive health care has helped thousands of patients. She works with various health clubs & hospitals as a diet consultant, and has also been a part of the judge panel in various food & recipe competitions.

Important Milstones

Year 2004

Honored for excellent work

In 2004, Dr. Nitin Shimpi was honored for his excellent work by the State Government of Maharashtra. The award was handed by Ex. Chief Minister Mr. Sushilkumar Shinde.

Year 2005

Appreciation award

In 2005, International Naturopathy Organization (INO), Delhi saluted Dr. Nitin Shimpi with an appreciation award for his contribution in the field of Yoga- Naturopathy.

Lions Club of Nasik, Supreme Sadguru Shivparvati Pratishthan also took in consideration his devotion towards society health empowerment.

Maharashtra State Government & YCMOU

In 2007, our courses were certified by the Maharashtra State Government as well as YCMOU (Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University)

National Award on 3rd December, 2007

Dr. Nitin Shimpi was honored by the National Award on 3rd December, 2007 as the best self-employed person in the field of Physiotherapy & Naturopathy. This award was bestowed by Ex-President of India Mrs. Pratibhatai Patil.
